Bukyia, a cloud kitchen startup based in Ghana, was in need of a distinctive brand identity that would resonate with its pan-African target audience while maintaining a professional and modern look. The challenge was to create a brand that felt both local and expansive—reflecting the vibrancy and diversity of African cuisine while appealing to customers across different regions. The branding had to be versatile enough to work across digital platforms, packaging, and various touchpoints as Bukyia expanded its offerings and reach.
Solution
To address this, I developed a cohesive brand design that incorporated a standard yet uniquely pan-African aesthetic. The logo design drew inspiration from traditional African patterns and symbols, combined with sleek, modern typography to convey the brand’s forward-thinking approach. I chose a warm, vibrant color palette representing the rich diversity of African cuisine, while ensuring that the design remained clean and adaptable for various digital and physical applications.
